Cougar Dam Spillway Gate Rehabilitation

BCI is undertaking a comprehensive rehabilitation project at the Cougar Dam Spillway for the Portland District. This extensive scope of work encompasses the replacement of tainter gate strut arms and hoist equipment, along with wire rope replacements. Structural repairs to the tainter gate structure are also part of the project, which will be followed by a meticulous painting of the tainter gate structure and skin. In addition, the installation of new dam switchgear and power feed as well as new tainter gate control panels will be completed. BCI is responsible for all mechanical and structural work, while Weeke Sales and Service will handle the electrical upgrades.
