Tuttle Creek Stilling Basin Wall Repair

BCI was the prime contractor for the project at Tuttle Creek Dam Stilling Basin in Manhattan, Kansas. The scope of this project encompassed excavating along the landward side of the retaining walls along monoliths 1 through 12, demolishing the upper training wall portion up to the first control joint and sections on the slope, replacing certain portions of the existing site drainage, filling the deep drainage system with flowable fill, implementing a shallower drainage system, and installing new concrete columns to facilitate the horizontal jacking surface required for the installation of post-tensioned anchors.
