Project Details
The work includes the removal and replacement of the existing Tail Gate Crane and Gate Lifting Device at Oxbow Dam and incidental related work. The existing gantry crane has a rated capacity of 12-tons. The new crane has a rated capacity of 14-tons. The work included, but is not limited to; removal and disposal of the existing 12-ton capacity gantry crane, design, fabrication, installation, and testing of the replacement 14-ton capacity Tail Gate crane and lifting device. Also included the installation of new lifting lugs welded onto existing gates.
BCI is the prime contractor on this project. BCI is self performed 100% of the site work and was responsible for work including:
- Management of Complete project including Crane Design and Fabrication SubContractor
- Erection of New Gantry Crane
- Commissioning and Load Testing of New Gantry Crane
- Demo of Existing Gantry Crane
- Included Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering
REEL COH completed the crane design and fabrication.
