Project Details
Restoration of the NASA Langley Research Center Potable Water System enhanced functionality and reliability of the system by expertly restoring a 500,000-gallon elevated water tower. The infrastructure was upgraded through the replacement of the existing raw water pumps, the installation of an efficient emergency connection to the existing water main, and the replacement of deteriorated sections of underground cast iron water piping. Furthermore, outdated and unreliable shutoff valves were replaced, ensuring the system operated smoothly and securely throughout its restoration process.
