Bull Shoals Dam Replace Tainter Gate Chains Hoist System

Designed and constructed a new wire rope hoist system with the removal of 34 existing chain hoists from the 17 tainter gate. Installed a new wire rope system and attached and painted new wire rope gate pin connection plates. Installed new wire rope drums and wire rope assemblies on the gate hoists. Conducted tuning of wire rope assemblies and recalibrated indicator dials to ensure proper operation of the hoist. Tested the hoist to guarantee its functionality was optimal.
